Dependable Dynaco DNA
Dynaco’s E-231 EXT is a gravity door, but with the robust metal frame of our M2 and D6 exterior door range. As always, any wearable elements are reduced to a minimum to ensure excellent durability, and the combination of a frequency-driven motor and encoder offers smooth operation and reliability. Add to this our patented zipper and side guide technology, with its self-reinserting curtain and you get an all-round, durable exterior door that guarantees flawless operation and limits downtime for repairs or maintenance. At an unmatched price. And just like our entire door range, the E-231 EXT is entirely conform to EN13241-1.
One door fits all
The E-231 EXT’s compact, sleek and minimalist design fits perfectly in any type of building architecture. Tailored for average to intensive use, it delivers dependable performance for any type of industrial, exterior use. And thanks to its resistance to high wind loads, it can even be used for interior applications where draughts are an issue, such as underground parkings.
To get your perfect fit, our basic E-231 EXT door model comes with different option packages. Configure your door through the HIVE platform and tailor it to your specific needs, for instance by replacing the standard 52E control unit by a DYN4 one.
The safest choice
At Dynaco, we believe safety comes first. That is why our E-231 EXT was designed to keep your staff, vehicles and goods safe from harm. Our gravity-driven door offers a soft weighted bottom edge and a curtain free of any stiffners. In the event of accidental impact, the flexible curtain will simply fold away and reinsert itself automatically, enhancing workplace safety and efficiency. In other words: no damages, no repair costs and no costly production downtime.
But there’s more! Our E-231 EXT features a new, patented, closing system that ensures secure operation even under high wind pressure. Thanks to this SBS (step-by-step) technology, the gravity door closes in stages under harsh wind conditions: first allowing for strong wind gusts to pass, before closing resumes. Thus maintaining safety and reliability at all times.
And Dynaco’s E-231 EXT comes with yet another innovative safety feature. A light curtain, which extends from the floor to 2.5 m high, immediately detects any activity or obstacles in the door opening. This cutting-edge feature delivers unparalleled protection and reliability and offers you a type 1 safety level. Thanks to this new feature, the door bottom doesn’t require any extra photocells for obstacle detection, allowing our engineers to increase the door’s weight and thus guaranteeing an even stronger, tight, seal.
A sustainable solution
Just like its siblings, the E-231 EXT was designed to deliver the best possible sealing properties, to significantly reduce energy losses. When closed, the flexible door curtain provides an airtight seal on all 4 sides, without any gaps between side guides and curtain. The flexible bottom bag, on the other hand, moulds to seal off floor inconsistencies while a top seal further helps increase your energy-savings.
By integrating existing Dynaco components from the D6 and M2, we avoid extra production and positively impact stock management for our partners, making the whole product cycle as sustainable as possible.
Inspired by our partners, brought to life by our R&D department
At Dynaco, we want our partners and users to stay ahead of the curve - and the competition. So when our annual Depack meeting revealed a need for an all-round, qualitative exterior door for smaller and medium sized applications, our R&D department gladly accepted the challenge. The result? A brand-new door that offers premium Dynaco quality to all and expands our market reach. Designed, developed and delivered in no less than 12 months. An impressive result and proud moment for everyone involved.
