Safe from start to finish: the idea that sparked Dynaco

At Dynaco, safety comes first. Even literally, because our company was born from this very idea: making high-speed doors safer. Our doors offer the same high quality of other high-speed options, but excel in terms of safety. So much so that our patented solutions have been copied - but never surpassed - by many competitors. 

Anything moving at high speed, including high-speed doors, implies risk. Risk of collisions, of impact and thus damage. Not only affecting vehicles and cargo, but also people. A scenario you want to avoid at all costs. Dynaco doors are developed and constructed to not only minimize impact and damage but also to prevent them. 

Made to make a difference: our choice of material

The first Dynaco innovation? The choice of material used: strong yet flexible PVC vinyl. An idea from 1987 that was inspired by pool covers and the realization that replacing rigid components by flexible material would lead to a much safer product. Now more than 35 years later, Dynaco produces a wide range of interior and exterior high-speed doors made of the same material, without any of the stiffeners traditionally used. 

Should the door come into contact with an unforeseen obstacle or person, the PVC will just bend around it, rather than hitting it head on. This prevents injury and damage to any vehicles and cargo, but also to the door itself. Any door that does dislodge will automatically reinsert itself, thanks to our patented zipper technology. This helps avoid repairs and downtime.  All factors that make Dynaco doors particularly safe ánd cost-efficient! 

Even though all Dynaco doors are made of flexible, reinforced PVC, they are constructed to withstand the most stringent requirements. Such as our D311, with its pressure-resistant door curtain. Perfect for clean rooms as it provides a superior and tight seal, which prevents air leaks and flows.  

Spot on: wireless detection systems to keep you safe

Next to the choice of material, Dynaco has devised a second innovation that contributes to your safety and that of your staff. Every door has a soft-bottom edge with a photocell detection system. This will have the door open again as soon as it detects an obstacle. Totally wireless so it also prevents any potential accidents caused by external cables.

Take our M2 range, for instance, designed for a variety of applications such as freezers. It  includes our M2 with integrated emergency exit, which comes with all the same advantages plus an ingenious T-shaped cut in the middle, that opens immediately when the release spots are pushed. All Dynaco products are 100% compliant with EN-standards.

Summing up: Dynaco doors safeguard your assets whenever and wherever any impact occurs. However, they also contribute to safety in a more (pro)active way, by making sure any potential contact situations are minimized. 

Dynalogic: an active contribution to safety

Dynaco doors are also equipped with Dynalogic control boxes. This technological innovation ensures that all doors can be operated and monitored externally, at all times. One of its functions is the maintenance mode, where the door cannot be used at all while being maintained.

All technology is developed in-house and is continuously being refined and updated. For instance, our D6 door was recently given a new safety option, with a LED lighting system. The lighting strips can turn green or red, indicating whether or not a door is about to be used from the opposite side. To optimize workflow, this technology can even be programmed according to specific, automatic time intervals.

At Dynaco we do not only work hard at bringing the safest possible high-speed doors to our retailers and end-customers. It is a priority within our own company as well. We provide compulsory safety instructions and trainings for our entire workforce and our trusted partners.
